Just recieved this Bad Ass Rifle and I'm very much pleased with it; has a meaty sound to it and the ROF is good enough for me (the closer it is to the real steel BAR the better).
One small thing though; the front end of the barrel, where the gas tube and barrel are joined, wobbles quite abit. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, how did you go about fixing it?

I'll post an update as well regarding my attempts to convert the hicaps into midcaps as soon as I get my hands on a few metal M16 VN mags! :good:

Cheers!

Anyone know how to strip the parts around the barrel at least?
The front end is really wobbly know and I haven't even used it in any skirmishes yet.

Are you talking about the flash hider? As that screw on and off to allow the mount of the Bipod.

There is also a small screw for a Hex key (allen key) for the gas block at the front of the rifle which holds on a plastic spacer. Which then holds a large metal peice which joins the barrel to the gas block.

I'm talking about the whole front end of the barrel; from the thingy which holds the gas block and the barrel together forward.
My guess is that there's some sort of small grub screw underneath the barrel (at the end of the gas block) that needs to be tightened, but I have no idea how to get the gas block and barrel "cover" off. :?

The wobble isn't noticeable when shouldering the rifle, but when you but the butt to the ground and tap the flash hider the whole front end shakes back and forth a couple of mm's. It doesn't feel very safe
fielding the rifle in that state!
